Hey guys, Yeah, I know, itâs been over a month since the last newsletter - sorry for that!
Iâve been on a crazy sprint to launch BookAuthority (see below), and then there were holidays, my birthday and a short vacation. Yeah, first world problems, I knowâŠÂ đ But no worries, Iâve got some great apps for you this month đ As always, Iâd love to hear your feedback and suggestions for apps I should write about: lior@lifehacklabs.org

BookAuthority, developed by yours truly, is a website that shows the most recommended books to expand your horizons. It ranks the worldâs best books on topics like Productivity, Startups, Leadership, Marketing, Growth Hacking, Product Management, Programming - based on recommendations by world-renown experts like Elon Musk, Tim Ferris, Jeff Bezos, Mark Cuban and others.
Mobile support is still incomplete, so please bear with me and try it on your desktop. I would love to hear your feedback about BookAuthority, which additional books or categories would you like to see?

Netmemo Voice Recorder for GTD (Android)
If youâve read Getting Things Done by David Allen, you must be familiar with the concept of the UCT (Ubiquitous Capture Tool) - a tool that allows you to quickly capture thoughts and notes wherever you are. I think voice recording is a great way to capture thoughts quickly, and have looked at dozens of voice recorders. Now I think I found the perfect one: Netmemo lets you take voice notes and send them to your email with 2 taps only. It can automatically start recording when you open the app, and has huge buttons (great when driving, for example). Itâs so good I actually bought the Plus version which allows you to upload notes to Dropbox and add multiple homescreen widgets.

Quitter (Mac)
Tired of having dozens of open apps on your Mac after a day of work? This lightweight app is a great solution to tidy up things.
It lets you automatically quit or hide apps after a certain amount of inactivity.
I use it to automatically close apps like the Calculator and the macOS Image Preview, which I open all the time and forget to close. Give it a try.

Auto Refresh (Chrome)
Whether youâre a developer or just a power user, you might find yourself wanting to refresh a webpage periodically - be it a dashboard, a news website, a page with stats or a product page.
Iâve used several extension to do that in the past, but most of them were unnecessarily complicated. I recently found about Auto Refresh which is very minimalistic. Just click its icon in the toolbar and hit Start. You can change the refresh interval (in seconds or minutes) and set a default interval. This extension is useful and extremely simple to use.

Bonus App: Go Fu**ing Work (Chrome)
Warning: this app may NOT be safe for work, I wouldnât recommend trying it if youâre offended by profanity.
Spending too much time procrastinating on Facebook, Reddit, and other social networks and news websites? This extension lets you choose which websites suck up all of your time and define your âoffâ times (e.g. evenings and weekends). Then, the next time youâll visit Facebook during the workday, itâll greet you with random, profane âmotivationalâ message. Basically, itâs like hiring Jules from Pulp Fiction as your motivational coach:

Procrastinate on Facebook one more time, I dare you!
